Hi, my name is Maurice D. Stringfellow I am looking to expand my network of clients throughout the Greater Houston Area. Growth is always sought after. I am currently certified as a Personal Trainer - with the American Fitness Institute, (Please Read Certifications Listed in the Last Paragraph). I have worked with all age groups and several different types of athletes. I love developing athletes through , sports, athletic, fitness and nutrition programs. I am part of the exploratory ownership group for the company Coaches Access Overflow Sports Development & Business Networking Firm, Inc. The approach my partners and I have taken is to train the underdeveloped, newly introduced to sports/athletics and overflow athletes on team, and train them in a one on one setting or in a group. My partners and I see that there is a need to develop these type of athletes so this is not only our niche into the athletic market this will be our staple as we move forward in the fitness and sports industry. I have been told I have the “IT” factor for coaching and training athletes at different levels, which helps my confidence level when I am training clients. I don't only train, I teach. Once you sign on with me, I commit myself to helping you achieve your fitness goals, adjust to a healthier lifestyle and maintain your fitness level. Being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle are contrasting principles. Together we are striving for success, and lasting results. I build the fitness program for you, but together we put in the effort to get the results. Working together, results are undeniable and very obtainable. I The first session I will need to gain insight on my client's daily physical activity level and health. I will gather subjective information about their personal history including occupation, lifestyle and medical background. They will fill out a physical activity readiness questionnaire. I will also gather objective information by way of assessments such as body composition, heart rate, static posture assessment and movement assessments. Once all of this is in order and I have this vital information, I will design a program individualized for that specific client and we will begin training. A typical training session would include a warm up period (Static/active-isolated or dynamic stretching; depending on your training level), a training period (working on short-term goals to accomplish long-terms goals) and a cool down period (self-myofascial rolling and static stretching). I decided to give back to the community by coaching and mentoring athletes with an emphasis in Track & Field. From 2001-2012 I aligned myself with local sport teams in the Houston & Chicago Areas, specifically training young athlete in various sports ranging from the youth (12-14), intermediate (15-16), & senior (17-19). My coaching philosophy aligned well with, local athletic teams. I believe that the development of the young athletes can lead to them being future leaders. During my Professional Track & Field career I learned to explore different athletic training paths to make me better. Now that I am a full time private coach/trainer, I want to pass that knowledge on to others wanting to pursue their own athletic prowess & endeavors. My coaching style is to implement a can do spirit in the athletes I coach and train. I am a hands on coach with a very keen eye for detail. I have coached and trained many elite, developmental, and Jr Olympic athletes in the Houston & Chicago areas over the last 16 years. My coaching goals for the athletes I train is we strive for perfection together. This mechanism sets the stage for the athletes to gain knowledge as they infuse practical & technical know-how into the sports or athletic competitions they compete in. I have an open dialogue for the athletes I train so we can speak openly in our training sessions. What to Expect

Plain instruction with demonstration, Plyometric stretching, targeting specific areas of concern, i.e. abs. concentrating on what athletes strengths are and make sure those strengths have continued growth, development & maintenance. With the athletes weakness I am looking for improvements in the development of the area, as it relates to the athletics area performance. My formula of success is performance based which are measured in small goals that myself and the athlete set. Session Plan I start my session with 3/4 speed warm up laps (2), to get the heart rate up, followed by a dynamic stretching routine with emphasis of the quads, hams, adductors, abductors, and IT band and flexors. Then we do a series of field and technique drills. I have a conversation with my athletes this is where I get their attention pertaining to the workout. We execute the workout plan for that day, followed by a barefoot walk, ab work and some technique work i.e. arm drives. We have a mini conversation about that life in general, or a fir bit about eating, hydration etc., then we wrap it up for the day. I never leave without saying good bye to each athlete by name that's present. Here is one of the workouts I did with one of my jumpers) all people I have a full workout including warmup sent to them via email prior to the meeting sessions. { } Warm up 20mins-40 mins Dynamic stretching (ON CIRCUIT DAYS) Do every Drill ONCE. { } Jog a Lap than stride out 3x 50m { } Dynamic Stretching (Active) { } Walking Knee Ups { } Walking Leg Extensions { } Lunge Walk/ { } Elbow Lunge { } Leg Rotation Walking { } Anaerobic Stretching (Direct, Stand-Still) { } Feet Together { } Wide legs left/right { } Right Over Left/visa { } Ground Anaerobic { } Fence Pole Series { } Knee over foot opposite leg straight { } Straight Leg Hold { } Knee rotation { } Leg Strikes { } Aerobic Drills (Muscle Movement)(Active) { } 1 Leg Hop { } A-Skip/ B-Skip { } Bounds/ Hops { } Knee Drives { } Side/Front Skips 2-4x 40-60m Approach Exaggerated stride out {last one at moderate pace} Sets and Reps will be Determined in Practice Never Give to Much Never Give to little The First Days { } Jumping Circuit for Stability, Strength, and Durability { }In Sand { } Squat Leg Jumps (leg hanging than legs up) { } Jump Lunges { } 2 Leg and 1 Leg Hop { } Frog Jumps { } High Knees Fast and Slow { } On Grass { } Hurdle Legs { } Bounds { } Fast Feet Steps { } Leg Twitches { } Bonus- 3 200s 30 seconds rest in between each (No Time Just Form and testing conditions safely) (I will run this with you) { } Crunches and Push Ups { } 200 Total Crunches and Sit Ups { } 20 Total Push Ups (example 4 set of 5) { } Cool Down { } Active One Lap { } 1st 100m Jog Slow { } 2nd 100m Side Jog @ 50m Switch direction { } 3rd 100m (backwards) { } 25m Walk 25m Skip 25m Jog 25m Run { } 4th 100m Cotton Pickers or Ground Swoops Typical Workout for a New Athlete Goal Setting Warm-Up General Dynamic Strength Circuit Specialization Training - By Event Speed/Endurance - Whichever pertains toward event Cool Down Discussion

Client Success Story

Kellen - Coach Maurice has assisted Kristen by helping her understand the importance and connection of the workout drills and events that she participates in. She is very analytical, and he helps her reflect through video observations and by modeling drills with her on the different phases of her events. Thus, I have seen her confidence increase as of the results of our sessions Mitch - Coach Maurice can really relate to athletes. He knows what and how to do things. Karla - After 3 sessions Coach Maurice has taken the time to study my sons strengths and weaknesses and catered a very effective training regiment that I know will help my son be success at the next level. I highly recommend Coach Maurice if you want you child to be more competitive and successful, Coach Maurice can help your child get there Shirley - Coach Stringfellow, Has been a catalyst in my Grandson Christian athletic career, Coach Stringfellow has worked with Christian on his athleticism. Christian does not want run track (although I believe he should). Christian is a serious high school basketball player who usually spends his summer playing on traveling AAU teams of basketball summer camps. This summer Christian decided he wanted to learn how to box as part of his overall fitness training. I can say that Coach Stringfellow influence in Christian fitness training has put him on another athletic level. Christian who is quite leader now wants to step up and share some of his training with his fellow High School & AAU Basketball teammates. Dawn - Coach Stringfellow, is making a difference in my daughters lives 11 year old Dawn and 10 my year old Danielle are budding track athletes. Coach Stringfellow has put them on the path to physical fitness and healthy eating. In our brief training sessions he has given the girls small tips on running, jumping and throwing. He has set a training path for them to start competing in spring 2016. His no pressure approach is refreshing. Patrice - was blessed to have Coach Stringfellow as my Jumps Coach in my youth days with Track Houston. I went on to compete at Saint Gregory's University my freshman year. Eight months ago I had a baby girl and transferred to Jarvis Christian College where we did not have a coach. I still have passion for jumping so much I continued to try to compete. I have been searching and searching for Coach Stringfellow because he was one of the ONLY jump coaches that I admired and never will forget and I seek your help in progressing further in Long Jump. Alice - Coach Stringfellow, has mad difference in my sons life as it relates to track & field. Coach Stringfellow evaluated my son, and spoke to his high school coaches about him participating in the long jump & discuss. He is training my son and the high school is now attends the coaches are starting to notice that the strength and power is forming. My son J is now more confident in his ability to compete on the high school level & eventually summer track.
