I bring not just a love and knowledge of personal fitness issues, but an expertise in anatomy and biomechanics that makes me truly unique among fitness professionals in the Houston area. I have more than seven years of medical education, including a B.S. in nursing from UTMB in Galveston and three years of advanced study in anesthesia at Baylor College of Medicine. I recently finished a masters degree in exercise science and health promotion specializing in performance enhancement and injury prevention. With a focus on health and wellness through exercise and nutrition, I am qualified to work with both the average client and those with special needs. A certified personal trainer and former fitness manager at several Houston-area 24-Hour Fitness Clubs, I have earned multiple personal trainer certifications from The Cooper Institute, The National Association of Speed and Explosion and The National Academy of Sports Medicine where I was also designated a Master Fitness Specialist.
