My name is MJ and I am a 32-year-old fitness enthusiast. I am a husband and father of two (boy and girl). My fitness journey started in 2004 when I enlisted in the Army after graduating high school. I began to really get into it during my second deployment to Iraq (2007-2009); that's when I realized that I have a passion for fitness. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness and Crossfit Level 1 Trainer Certified. To me it's not just about running, jumping and lifting weights. It's about helping someone achieve something they never thought was possible. I want to help people run that 5k, drop those pounds, gain that muscle, fit into those jeans. In my personal experience I gained both muscle and fat. When I decided to buckle down and get lean I saw results that I never thought were possible for me. That summer I took my family to Sea World. After leaving the water park, I decided to keep my shirt off and push my son in his stroller through the rest of the park to see the shows. I began to notice people turning their heads and looking at us. I even heard an employee tell another employee, "that's how I want to look" and then he pointed at me. The way I felt that day, that's how I want people to feel about themselves. That is my goal. I love to train outside whenever possible. We can meet at any designated location or I can come to your home with my equipment.

Having a military background, I am little tough on my clients. If you're going to pay me to train you I will make sure you get your money's worth. I will push you when you think you have nothing left. You will curse me and hate me but at the end of the session you will thank me.
Through diet and exercise I've helped people drop weight in the double digits. I have also helped underweight clients gain muscle.
