I have been a fitness coach for over 17 years, training a variety of clients from movie, TV and music celebrities; to children; sports athletes; and seniors. My true passion in life has undoubtedly been helping people. Throughout my entire fitness career, assisting people in bettering themselves has been my role and focus. I find that a quick wit and sunny disposition helps greatly to accomplish this goal. As a child and well into his early adulthood I was greatly overweight, weighing in at close to 300 lbs (280 lbs to be exact). I was taught the art of boxing at age 10 by my grandfather, a Martial Artist and Champion Boxing trainer himself, but being obese led to a lack of confidence and I never got serious about it until age 22 when mastering boxing helped me to shed more than 100 lbs. This is when I began my mission helping others to do the same by striving to be an enthusiastic, well-rounded, and well-read fitness trainer. Creating exciting and fun workouts, and keeping up on current fitness trends and ideas helps give my clients a wealth of knowledge and motivation to draw from. My belief is that anyone can do anything if they have the confidence and know how. This is why helping people to help themselves -- especially the ones who don’t think they can -- has been the most rewarding experience of my life!
A typical session with me includes oceans of sweat, laughing hysterically, a wealth of information and intense learning, muscles vibrating/aching and a feeling of euphoria when you get to pay me back at the end of the session in "Punch Out Time!"😫
I am currently training two women ages 73 and 75, who kickbox and can do military/full body push-ups! I am also training a 67-year-old man who started off running a four minute one-third of a mile, and is now running a one minute and 45 second one-third of a mile!
