After a beginning assessment of ability, a typical session would include a proper warm-up, focusing on preparing the body for the workout, followed by a goal oriented workout, whether it be to build muscle, lose fat, or maintain fitness, with a main focus of form and technique, then conclude with a thorough cool-down and stretch, ensuring the best recovery for your body.
A client of mine a few years ago began preparing for his deployment to basic training for the marines.
