I started my training career in San Antonio and was training local students and some athletes from the football volleyball and basketball teams. I had acquired my training certification from ACSM and have been working on continued education certifications for a while now. I've had the opportunity to follow around a professional athlete to watch his trainer and how he works him out as well. But to get more into me I've played football had a chance to go to college for it but unfortunately I had a knee injuries that developed to tendinitis so didn't get to play. But continued to play at UTSA Intramurals won school league, and regionals in football won intramurals basketball, ultimate frisbee, and kickball. Now I am apart of the Australian Football Team here in Austin and work out frequently in between practices. I also participated in running Spartan Races the Sprint and Super training for the Beast on Halloween I've also done the Tough Mudder and a number of 5ks and 10ks.
ACSM
Expect a 5-10 min. warm-up going into the training for 30-35 min. of a work out 10-15 min. cardio/cool down phase of a work out. Expect intensity to vary and form to be stressed so injuries are avoided as much as possible.
I had a client that wanted to lose weight and help with his knee problems. He never really had a lot of success in the gym because he was discouraged and intimidated by others in the gym. After working out with me for three months he started gaining confidence within him self and started to develop more goals of getting the confidence to find a significant other. After two more months he met someone that hes been with now for two years. He started at 258 lbs we worked for six months together and he got down to 195 lbs and was ready to work out on his own.
