I’m a 38-year-old married father of two, U.S. Air Force veteran, and Baylor Bear (Sic ‘Em!). I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I’ll rant more later on why I choose to identify this way instead of just plain ol’ Christian. Originally I was born and raised not far from where I live now (Austin, TX) in Killeen. Interestingly enough, being a military brat, I have lived in numerous places during my life. Now that I have a family of my own, we too have lived in numerous places.
I began my fitness training back when I entered the USAF in 2002. It wasn't until 2005 that I began leading any organized physical training sessions. It was during time through 2008 that was able to work with groups both large (150+) and small (~10) developing programs for both maintaining and improving fitness levels. If ever there was someone who failed their PT test, I developed personalized programs for them to achieve passing scores.
Since then I have worked with people of all ages and fitness levels with a great success rate. Check out my testimonials for a few success stories!

What to Expect
I help people find their perfect body! You can expect a good, thorough, full-body workout using your body weight. You will not need any equipment ... just yourself!
I believe a person’s own body weight is the best weight to work out with. This is the weight that the body has to learn to move and function with. Along with that, I believe in longevity…being able to work out your entire life. So exercise is not just an endgame or a means to an end for me. It’s a lifestyle. I teach my clients how to be able to workout wherever they are … with or without weights.
I also believe in proper nutrition. Food is for fueling the body. Just like premium gas is preferred for premium car engines so we can get the maximum efficiency from it, so too are our bodies. We can only perform as good as the fuel we feed into ourselves. So with every session and follow-up in between I inquire about what my clients ate, are eating and will eat. If the fuel is bad, it doesn’t matter how much time you spend working out, or what routine you do, your gains in the gym will be diminished because your body is having to work extra hard just to process the food that it should be using to repair, rejuvenate, and replenish energy reserves.
Client Success Story
"As a business owner, I often struggle to find the time or the motivation to workout. I'm also the kind of person who bores easily. Coach Herb's 20-minute boot camp has been a sweet spot for me. It's fast, dynamic, and I lost about 10 lbs in the first two weeks. He customized the workout to fit my unique needs. For example, my routine includes low-impact exercises that strengthen instead of aggravate my lower back. Once he learned that I bore easily, he gave me a variety of quick exercise to select from daily. I love the results! Since it's only 20 minutes, it's near impossible to miss a workout. Finally, I didn't have to join a gym or buy expensive equipment. The only thing I need is myself and a small space to complete my daily bootcamp. Thanks Coach Herb! I'd recommend his Bootcamp to anyone who needs proven results.
