Hello, my name is Destinee. I've been a trainer for about a year, but an athlete all of my life. From ballet to football, karate to gymnastics, and volleyball to crew, I've done it all. After suffering from a chronic illness, I realized that we can have it all -- money, looks and education -- but we are nothing without our health.

My biggest concern is safety. Lifting heavy is great but if your form is off, you will feel it tomorrow and not in a good way. I push my clients to their limits in a safe environment while under my watch. I give everyone what they pay for and let the results do the talking.
This story is personal because it's about me. I played sports throughout my academic career. Physical activity is a great way to express yourself while focusing on something greater than yourself. My sophomore year in college I began to eat food I never ate before, skip the gym, work more than I needed to and I ended up in the hospital. I spent my birthday in a hospital room with machines monitoring my every move and a nurse on stand by. I couldn't walk, I was depressed, and I was put on medication to "help" me which actually turned me into a zombie. I felt horrible. I have a cardiovascular, skeletal, and muscular illnesses that were brought out because I was not caring for my body. I was in so much pain, my only relief was sleep. I knew this could not be the life I wanted, so I made a change. One walk around the block turned into a 5-mile run. One push-up turned into dead lifts. Fitness saved my life and I want to share it with the world.
