I love what I do and you're going to love it too! I have an associate degree from Suffolk County Community College's Fitness Specialist program, and I am currently studying Nutrition and Exercise Science at Queens College in Flushing, NY (home of the Queens College Step test). I am very passionate about health, wellness and fitness. I really do love my career, and I thoroughly enjoy helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals -- especially when they thought they would not be able to something. Losing weight is NOT hard. Keeping it off is. I have many clients that say they've lost weight one time or another only to gain it back. This will happen to everyone unless you make it a way of life. Health and wellness is a long-term, lifelong journey. If you want to truly experience the benefits of it, you must make it a way of life, not just something to do for the summer months. After the initial consultation and fitness assessment, a typical training session will be dependent on the clients goals. For example, if a client is looking for weight loss, we will be moving a lot and doing circuit workouts. Circuit workouts are full body workouts that will increase your metabolism, and therefore the amount of calories you burn per exercise session. If a client is a complete beginner, we will be focused more on mind-body connection, balance, and coordination to build a good foundation to stand on.
