My name is Britnie, I am a born and raised Southern California girl who is trying to plant her roots here in Austin. I grew up playing every sport imaginable, with my greatest love being basketball. I received a four-year scholarship to play basketball for Concordia University, Irvine. Following the end of my basketball career my love for overall fitness, strength and endurance grew and became my life. Now I want the chance to help people find that love and be happier with themselves! I received my B.A. in Exercise Sports Science from Concordia and just finished my masters in Athletic Training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have the all the qualifications and experience it takes to get you healthier and happier while having fun doing it. Whether its strength, toning, bulking, endurance, bodyweight training or sport specific, you name it and I'll help you!
A typical training session will depend a lot on what you are wanting out of it and what your goals are. Every session will be different for each different individual. We will begin with a warm-up and short dynamic stretching and then jump into the main session I will create based on my initial assessment of you.
I had a client that wanted to do a triathlon but had never swam nor cycled. We worked on strength for all three specific disciplines as well as the aerobic endurance for all three of them. She was ready in three months and actually ended up doing an olympic distance (1500 meter swim, 25 mile bike, 6.2 mile run) instead of the sprint (400 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run) which she was originally going to do!
