Akosua is the founder of ASA! Enterprises LLC, a company working to promote whole health and wellness through the art of movement. As a traditional African dancer, Akosua made her first appearance on the stage at age three. Since age 13, she has been organizing and teaching adult and children’s workshops throughout her community. She has also served as lead and assistant choreographer for numerous dance organizations. Today, she maintains an active involvement in community projects and continues to perform and teach dance in national and international arenas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Howard University and is a nationally certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Performance, Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania- a program that will also award her the Performance Enhancement Specialist certification by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Speed Specialist Certification by the National Academy of Speed and Explosion. She currently works as a professional dancer, dance instructor, personal trainer, group exercise instructor, choreographer and physical therapy technician. Welcome to the MOVEment.
