Hello, my name is Adam and I am graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor's in Exercise Science. National Academy of Sports Medicine
Most training sessions will consist of some form of cardio-respiratory exercise along with core strengthening, stretching and some form of resistance training that is designed to help you meet your goals. Flexibility, core and cardio respiratory endurance are the foundation to every workout program.
During this past spring semester I was a trainer for a Biggest Loser program with the University of Houston campus recreation and was assigned three ladies to train in a group setting for five weeks, two days per week. In the beginning the ladies were a little embarrassed to work out and felt they were so out of shape but after the first three sessions they were more than excited to train and began coming to the gym on their own doing the workouts from past sessions. At the end of the program all of the participants were weighed and completed a timed mile. Two of my clients dropped their mile by a outstanding two minutes and the group lost a combined weight of 32 lbs. Two of my clients also placed first and second in the competition.
